1. Baba Baidyanath Dham (Deoghar)
Located 250 KM from Ranchi, Deoghar is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva and one of the 51 Shakti Peethas. The Baidyanath Temple complex features 22 shrines connected by red threads, symbolizing Shiva and Shakti. The holy month of Shravan (July-August) sees the famous Kanwar Yatra, where pilgrims bring water from the Ganges at Sultanganj (105 KM away) to offer at the temple.
Travel Tip: The best time for general Darshan is early morning (between 05:00 AM and 08:00 AM) when queues are smaller. We provide dedicated round-trip transfers and local stay suggestions.
2. Sammed Shikharji (Parasnath Hills)
Situated 165 KM from Ranchi in Giridih district, Parasnath Hill is the highest peak in Jharkhand (1,350 meters). It is the most sacred pilgrimage site for Jains (Sammed Shikharji), where 20 of the 24 Jain Tirthankaras attained salvation (Nirvana). Pilgrims undertake a 27 KM trek of the hill to pay respects at the various Tonks (shrines) along the ridge.
Trekking Route: The climb begins at Madhuban at the base of the hill. It takes about 8 to 10 hours for a complete round-trip trek. Motorbike services and doli (palanquin) services are available for elderly travelers.
3. Chhinnamasta Temple (Rajrappa)
Located 70 KM from Ranchi on the confluence of the Damodar and Bhairavi rivers, the Rajrappa Temple is dedicated to Goddess Chhinnamasta (the headless form of Goddess Kali). It is a highly revered Shakti Peetha surrounded by river views, rock formations, and scenic hills. Our drivers can easily add a visit to Rajrappa on your return journey from Parasnath or Deoghar.
